PROMs (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) are an ideal means for measuring treatment efficacy using questionnaires. The main focus is on the outcome as experienced by the patient. Contrary to clinical information, PROMs offer a unique insight into the effect of a treatment from the patient’s perspective.
The PROMs questionnaires used contain questions about things like the ability to perform general daily activities, pain, mobility, physical and mental health, and quality of life. By asking people to complete these validated questionnaires at fixed points in time, knowledge is gained both at individual and at group level.
OnlinePROMS offers a comprehensive solution for measurement of these PROMs and for realising the best possible response.
OnlinePROMS has been developed to enable patients to complete these questionnaires at any time – on a tablet, on a pc or on paper. It is all about user convenience. For hospital staff, all kinds of practical functionalities have been developed as well.
Around 60 hospitals and clinics in the Netherlands are already using OnlinePROMS. Millions of measurements have been performed on over 100,000 patients, for instance in the following fields:
Orthopaedics
Plastic surgery
Cardiology
Ophthalmology
Pain management
Intensive Care
Trauma surgery
Flebology
Dermatology
Neurosurgery
Bariatrics
Rehabilitation Services
Value-based healthcare
Since 2017, OnlinePROMS has also been used for patient satisfaction surveys and PREMs (Patient Reported Experience Measurements).
