PROMs & PREMs Value Based HealthCare (VBHC)

Value Based Health Care is focused on maximizing the value of care that is experienced by patients. Besides that, it also aims to reduce healthcare costs. 

Indicators are set in order to be able to provide insight into the value experienced by patients. Most often, PROMs are used to provide this insight but also other questionnaires might be utilized. 

Value Based Healthcare is often not only implemented for 1 specialism but institution wide. 

For these Value Based Health Care treatments, amongst others, depending on the specialism, following PROMs questionnaires are used:

• HOOS, KOOS, Oxford questionnaires
• VAS pain
• NRS pain
• EQ-5D (quality of life)
• SF-12
• SF-36
• Divers questions about daily functioning, pain and recommendation of treatment to family and friends.
• PREMs and divers Patient Satisfaction Questionnaires (PSQ)

Missing a treatment or questionnaire in the above overview? Building in questionnaires in OnlinePROMS is included in the contract fee. 

Of course, all required licenses for the use of the questionnaires have to be arranged by the healthcare institution.
